Abstract

Background and Objective: One of the most important consequences of social activity is the occurrence of stress and psychological pressure. This is much more common in women, especially working mothers. The purpose of the present study is to investigate the relationship between job stress and resilience and job security in working pregnant women in Tehran.
Method: The research method was a descriptive correlational type. For this purpose, three questionnaires: Connor and Davidson resilience, Asipo job stress, and Nissi job security were distributed among 384 pregnant women working in Region 7 who were selected purposefully using the Cochran formula method. The statistical data obtained from the statistical samples were analyzed using SPSS software. Data analysis and hypothesis inferential statistics were performed using one-way analysis of variance. Findings: Finally, the results of the study showed that there is a significant and negative relationship between job stress and resilience. There is also a significant and negative relationship between job security and stress. The results of the present study showed that pregnant working women perceive themselves to be exposed to a variety of conditions that ultimately lead to their job stress. And in the meantime, as job stress and stress increase in pregnant working women, their resilience also decreases. Also, the higher their job stress, the lower their job security will be.
Conclusion: Job stress can increase job resilience and job security.
